    (If you are already a member, simply log-in)  When creating your profile you select keywords related to your business.

    As a featured advertiser your listing is guaranteed top placement within iJango and its syndication network including Local.com when the keywords in your profile are searched.
  3. Connect - Attract New Customers
    Prospective customers simply click on your listing to learn more about you or to become a customer. No website? With iJango’s business detail page, you don’t need one. We automatically create you your very own business detail page that will serve as your ad’s destination page.

We have two programs to help people find you – Free and Featured.
  • Free Listing: Enables you to provide detail-rich information about your business, including address, phone number, pictures, logo, a map, even specials.
  • Featured Listing: Featured ad placement costs $99.95 per month with a $150 set-up fee. And, puts your business at the top of the natural, local search results within a county-wide radius. This makes it available via iJango Adz and the syndicated audience of 15.2 million local search users a month. When customers in your area search for your product or service, they'll find you first! According to a Yahoo study, 82% of local searchers follow up with the business they find first, and of those, 61% make a purchase. Once you sign up on-line, it will take up to 5 days to process your application, and then your listing will be live on our syndicated network. Featured placement guarantees you will be at the top of the results for your designated keywords. This placement is first come first serve so beat your competition and create your profile today.

FAQs

  1. How does advertising with iJango Adz benefit me if there is not a large iJango user-base in my area? The iJango Featured Listing is not only featured on iJango Local but also syndicated to over 15.2 million local search users a month.
  2. Will this advertising be effective in small or remote communities? The internet is penetrating nearly every market, especially rural markets. The setup and monthly costs can be far lower than yellow pages, billboards, radio, tv, and other forms of advertising.
  3. Will we have graduated subscription levels for Adz? Currently, we have a manual form that can be completed for a “Featured” Ad. Once the online interface is available advertisers will also have the ability to create a “Free” listing.
  4. What if 4 sites are optimized in the same category (example: 4 pizza delivery places in the same small town)? The results are set to be random based on the keywords. Results will be based on the keywords the advertiser chooses to represent their business and the keywords the searcher uses when searching.
  5. Can we track the figures for visits to the ads? iJango will not be tracking analytics – this is the responsibility of the advertiser. There are widgets available to assist with this tracking, including http://www.widgetbox.com/tag/tracking. iJango makes no guarantees about the effectiveness or accuracy of the data produced through these third-party applications. IDEA!- Encourage your advertiser to create a unique coupon that they promote on their iJango ADZ Featured Listing – as these coupons are redeemed by customers they will know that their advertising is working!
  6. How often can the ad be changed? How can I add pictures and videos to my ad? Once the online interface is live, the ad can be changed on–line, but would have to go through a review process. The changes are not made in “real-time”.
  7. Can members sell adz? Currently this is a Director-only benefit.
  8. Can the code list be alphabetized so it is easier to find the category you are looking for? Categories can be searched using Ctrl-F when the file is open.
  9. What types of business can advertise? The intention is to advertise local, brick-and-mortar or service, home-based businesses which provide services or products in a localized area. It is not to be used to advertise an iJango business.
